Graphic design

Graphic design is the majority of any post online, and like anything else, there are rules and tips to make your brand more visually recognizable. Getting it right can really make a difference in your brand personality. Here are a few tips to ensure that you grab people’s attention in the middle of browsing.

Always Include Your logo In Graphics

This is often overlooked by businesses, but this is essential in reminding people who you are. Your logo should be small enough that it doesn’t take up too much space, but big enough to recognize.  People who are constantly exposed to your logo online will subconsciously want to know more about your business.

Less Text Is Better For Graphics

It’s understandable why businesses use a lot of text in their Social Media graphics, they want to put as much information as they can. This is a huge mistake. Too much text makes the image look cluttered and busy, often making people lose interest in trying to read. Keep text in the image to a minimum.

 Tell Your Message Visually

People spend hours scrolling through their timelines and most of the time rarely read the copy of the post, this is where creativity comes in. Ensure your image or video conveys a message that the audience can understand without reading the post. In one quick look, your audience should be able to understand who you are and what you’re trying to say.

Videos Are More Engaging

Everyone knows that an interesting video gets more engagement on social media. Vision is our most dominant sense. Most information transmitted to our brain is visual, so it only makes sense for businesses to utilize video marketing. Ensure your video doesn’t have too much text and should capture your audience in the first 3 seconds.  It should be clean, interesting, and easy to follow.

Data Visualizations To Simplify

Data visualizations (infographics, maps, charts, diagrams, etc.) are one of the best ways to make complex information understandable in your graphic designs. People often ignore posts that either have too much text or very difficult words. Showing statistics and numbers through infographics works in helping people consume information easily. Use data visualization to keep your audience captured and informed.
